From the land of the outback to the backwoods of Osceola County, barramundi are giving Florida anglers a real run for their money. Tireless and rambunctious from hook-set to release, the Australian cousins of the common snook are being caught by the dozens in a pay-to-fish pond located among the vast cattle ranches along U.S. 441 south of St. Cloud. ``I caught a few of them I thought had a little more stamina than a snook,'' Greg Watts of Eagle Lake said.
